Marine Trader Media Privacy Number (MTM PN)

At Marine Trader Media we respect your privacy as a private trader, but understand how important it is that potential buyers are able to contact you. This is why we have introduced the Private Number Service. MTM have teamed up with YAC, to bring you a new system that allows you to keep your telephone contact details private, whilst ensuring that you never miss a call from a potential customer.
We will automatically allocate an MTM PN to your advert and this will then appear instead of your own telephone number. When someone calls the MTM PN allocated to you they will be diverted to the original phone number that you entered. The allocated number will begin with 07092 or 07096, it is NOT a mobile number but a special personal number.

This service does not cost the Advertiser; a small amount of revenue is earned by MTM when a call is made to your advert, this allows us to offer you, the Advertiser, this Free Advert Service.

How much does it cost to call a MTM Private Number from within the UK?
The cost of calling a MTM PN Number from within the UK varies according to the type of phone used and the telephone company that places the call. See details of costs below:

• From a landline phone
  

  People calling a MTM PN Number beginning 07092 from a standard BT home or business phone are charged at the BT rate of 37.5 pence per minute (ppm) at peak times, 25ppm evenings and 12.5 ppm weekends.* This is the standard 'K' telecoms rate set by BT for personal numbering services.

  People calling a MTM PN Number beginning 07096 from a standard BT home or business phone are charged 50 pence per minute at all times.

  Where the callers use an alternative operator to make the call to a MTM PN Number the call will be charged at that operator's rate for calls to personal numbering services.

  * Per second billing applies to calls to a MTM PN Number where it is supported by the operator that places the call.

• From a mobile phone

  The cost of calling a MTM PN Number from a mobile phone depends on the rates of your mobile phone company. In most cases, it is comparable to calling another mobile phone outside of your own network. Contact your mobile phone company to find out the exact price of calling a MTM PN Number (MTM PN Numbers are those with the prefix 07092 or 07096). Mobile operators are obliged to make their call charges readily available to their customers.
